Cookie Policy
We keep this short because we keep cookies short.
The extension
The BulkoPin Chrome extension does not set cookies. It uses chrome.storage.local to remember your preferences (preferred export format, last-used filename pattern). That data never leaves your browser.
This website
| Name / type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session (strictly necessary) | Keeps you signed in to your BulkoPin account across bulkopin.com and app.bulkopin.com. Set only once you sign in. | Until you sign out or it expires |
| Analytics consent decision (strictly necessary) | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected the analytics banner below, so we don't ask again every visit. Stored in local storage, not a cookie. | Until you clear browser storage |
| PostHog analytics identifier (opt-in only) | An anonymized, randomly-generated ID used to group your page views and feature usage — only set after you accept the banner. Stored in local storage, not a cookie. See our Privacy Policy. | PostHog's standard retention |
We also load Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to measure aggregate page-load performance and traffic. Both are cookieless and don't use any persistent identifier — they run automatically and aren't affected by the banner. We do not run advertising pixels or social-media trackers of any kind.
Payment provider
When you purchase Lifetime, our payment provider may set cookies on its hosted checkout page to handle fraud prevention. Those cookies are governed by the payment provider's own privacy policy.
Your choice
You can accept or reject analytics from the banner shown on your first visit, or change your mind later by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. Rejecting analytics has no effect on signing in, downloading, or your BulkoPin license — only the sign-in cookie is required for the service to work.
Language
This policy is written in English. Translations into other languages are provided for convenience only; if a translation and the English version conflict, the English version is authoritative and prevails.
